Neutral Safety Switch C6 tranny question

Post by F100project1966 »

Hey Guys,
My '66 F100 has a '73 C6 tranny. The tag reads PGB-BB, which is how I found out it is a '73. It doesn't have a NSS and the ones I see online don't seem to match the armature and connection on the tranny (see attachment). Can anyone help me with the exact NSS I need? Thanks much.

Assuming it is like a bump side, the NSS is on top of the steering column.

See “7A247” in this diagram:

I'm not really sure where the steering column came from (I made an earlier post with a picture, but no help in ID'ing it). I was told that it never had a NSS and don't see any wires suggesting it's there. I just finished installing a shift indicator on the column. I assumed that adding a NSS would involve just the tranny at this point.
