Photo gallery??

I tried to register on the photo gallery last night & it kicked me off. I clicked the link to activate it, but when I tryed to login, it told me I was banned from the site...??

What did I do wrong? Or what should I have done differently??

To stop brute-force attacks, if someone tries to log in with an incorrect username and/or password more than 5 or 6 times, then they're banned for 24 hours from another log-in attempt. Is that what happened?

Yes. But, I clicked the link that was sent to my email & everything was fine. It told me to continue, so I tried logging in. No dice. I think i tried it 3 times, I thought maybe I hit a wrong key or something while trying to log-in. Still no-go. Then I went back to the email clicked the link again, & tried logging in again. Boom! It kicked me off.

I'll give it another try tonight.

I see what the deal is...you actually registered twice. Once as "papabugs71" and then again as "papabug71". You're probably trying to use the username from one registration and the password from another. I should probably delete one of these accounts. Which one do you want to keep and use?

Thats what happened! I put in the wrong email on the first attempt.

I would like to keep user name papabug71.

You can delete papabugs71.
