What qualifies as an "Active Topic"?

Post by sargentrs »

Noticed recently that some new posts don't come up in the Active Topics shortcut. Updated my build thread and it's not there. Just realized that Jamie had updated his too and I missed it. Was wondering what qualifies as an Active Topic. I typically log in and immediately click on active topics to get to the ongoing threads, 3 or 4 times a day  . Wondering if I'm missing some interesting posts because I don't see them there.

Mr Sargent , I'm glad you brought this up.

If I check in and check out and later check in again all I see is the threads posted since I last checked out.

I have to go to each section and read the last posts which is time consuming.

thats funny, I had this happen to me a couple weeks ago. added a comment on a post and it never came up in the active listings. I thought it was a glitch.

Still not getting the hang of this. I've missed out on a bunch of new members coming aboard in the Welcome Mat. Never came up as active topics. Thought I'd bump this back up. Also, people have replied to a couple of other threads I posted and those never came up active either. Every time I log in I have to click on Active Topics, New Posts, Your Posts and occasionally surf every forum category to stay up with what's going on. Still the best forum on the web!

Anymore I click on the 'new posts' spot under the quick links. I may not know to which subforum I'm going but I find interesting topics there.
