I'd go and check for you, but it probably wouldn't be until the weekend. It's been a while since I was there, and being exposed at the end of the row like the truck was (and pretty much picked clean) probably doesn't bode well. With nothing boxing it in, they wouldn't have to move anything to take it to the crusher.

Thanks for the reply Jacksdad, I got to thinking after I wrote that that I have a pile of parts taking up space in my garage that I need to refurbish and put on. My plan was to leave it manual drums for awhile anyways. It would be nice to already have that just waiting in the garage to go on when i'm ready tho. I'm sure it won't be too hard to locate when I get to that point.

If I see another, I'll give you a heads up. We're pretty lucky down here. Bumps show up regularly in the bone yards.

Thank you! Wish I would've had this truck when I still lived down there.

I'll have to run by and check them out. I usually hit the South Bay yards. I have some aluminum wheels I can drop off at the metal recyclers actoss the street while I'm there.

If you could do me a favor while you're there see if they have a C9TA-3590-E pitman arm.........I'm trying to exhaust all options since all but 1 of the yards I have called never bothered to call me back.......if by chance they have one pick it up for me and I'll buy it from you for your cost plus postage and whatever you need for your time and effort........ :D

Absolutely. Not sure when I can get there (got called into work tomorrow, which screwed up a lot of my plans) but I'll certainly check when I do make it.

Indeed. I hope the master cylinder doesn't let the fluid seep out like mine does. Short list of things to fix once it warms up is install a late model aluminum master cylinder so I can keep all four corners stopping...

Truck turned into a commuter car this morning. Ole diesel came right to life but the ride sucks without any weight in the back. Also noted that my speedo is off 10 mph. Said 70, road side radar said we were going 60 mph.

Took advantage of being off work due to gallbladder surgery and a rare 60 degree in Ohio to paint my headliner and trim and install my NOS dash bezel I scored - it has just enough shelf wear to look like it came in the truck originally.........

Wrenched on my 1974 JD 110 lawn mower project then decided to mount one of the 2 NOS telescoping mirrors I scored that my bump came with originally........... :D
