Looks great. I'm glad you are keeping the straight six. Looks nice in there.

You said you are going with flat paint. Do you mean a flat orange or another color ( black? )?

I hate the orange color so it has got to go, its gonna be blue lite or dark i havent decided yet. I am hoping to get the front cap off this week and get the motor pulled out. I am putting in a new clutch, i am gonna change the seals in the tranny and the motor while there pulled out. New intake, carb, and a points eliminator
i am going with an electric fuel pump and a few other goodies it just depends on money.

When you are pulling the fenders, don't forget about the bolt in the door jam and other one at the bottom of the fender.

Here are a few pics with the front cap off and my new doors i picked up last week. I also found that the bearings in the water pump and alt were bad plus i ordered a mini starter so i will have better header clearance.

That's gonna be awesome! Looks great. If it were mine I'd go with the factory sky blue color with a white grill, :2cents:  Then it'll look like a resto-mod.

I got the motor out this morning it finally warmed up enough. I used my tractor
to pull it out it kept wanting to turn the motor sideways. I will use a load equalizer when i put the motor back in. I cant wait to get started on the motor this week i have a pile of parts for this truck and its time to install them. here are some pics.
