Perches look good. It's pretty cool when you can squint your eyes to figure the lines, then make the part that actually fit where you need them too.

Good job.

thanks! I was worried there for a while making them, that they wouldn't work!

Got to work boxing in the rear frames, where the fuel tank will go. Since the rear crossmember was right at the rear spring mount, I decided to put in a few supports in the frame at that point, to stiffen it up. Also, I added some steel to the top and bottom of the frame, to make it easier to box it in. You can see in the before and after pics.

And then the left side. I'm going to get everything coated/painted, then box it in between the two cross members.

Got around to coating the frame sections with POR-15 and Chassis Black. Also did the inner front fender braces. Bolted the cross members back into the frame. I wanted them back in before I boxed the frame, so I know everything will be straight.

Starting cleaning up the front fenders. The left side is much cleaner than the right, so, started with it. Cleaned up pretty nice. I'm going to be coating sections of it with POR-15 also, shooting it with Epoxy primer, top coat it with black. I'll weld the brace back in, and then undercoat it.

Got a few more little things done last night. Re-did the heat shrink on the one gas tank strap that I messed up (yeah, taking off the other heat shrink was fun....NOT), and, coated the parts of the inner fender with POR-15. As soon as I get the outside stripped, and the other fender done, I'll shoot them in epoxy.

Got to work on the passenger side fender. This was is pretty rough. And, after stripping the back side, I found pinholes at the bottom rear section. So, cut out what I could, and fabbed up a patch.

Coated the back side of the fender in POR-15. I'll be scuffing, then shooting epoxy over this, after I install the brace back in.

While the pass. side was drying, I stripped the outside of the drivers side. I did notice after getting all of the paint off, that the bottom front of the fender is messed up. So, I'll have to do some dolly work to get it back into shape before epoxy.

Looks like you do solid body work (my weak point)! Want to take a trip here to Colorado and school me a little? :D

Thanks guys! Hey, you should have caught me when I was in Colorado last month!!LOL! Finished up boxing in the frame, this should be plenty strong. Need to order some more Chassis Black from Eastwood, then I'll coat it in POR-15, and top it off with the Chassis Black.

Also finished up the top straps for the fuel tank, thanks to the guys at work doing the welding on the stainless for me. Just have to tweak the one strap a little to sit better around the raised portion of the tank.

Got around to getting the fender in Epoxy. Nice to have that done, now I can start on the front clip. Also, primered and re-applied undercoat to the spot that I had to notch out under the cab floor. Then, lined up the cab, and drilled out the new front mounts, so I can bolt the cab down.
