Thanks to all for the image hosting help.

Finally, started working on the bumpside again. Currently, I have started disassembly of the donor cab. It will be broken down by drilling out every spot weld in it, the best parts of each cab being used and/or modified.

Here's a few pictures to hold you for a while.

I hope this photo thing works this time.

after fussing with it for a while , finally, pictures.

Looks good but man is that going to take a bunch of puddle welds to put it back together.

LOL, I have plenty of thick copper backers to handle that issue.

It seems I now have two donor trucks to cut apart; I recently came across what's left of a '71 Sport Custom Explorer sitting in a field and it turns out to be what's left of the same one I lost track of 30 years ago, still titled in my name.( I'm not often lucky so I have to rely on skill, but I'll take this bit of luck, gladly. ) There's not much left of it due to vandalism and thieves over the years ( they hacked up a perfect roof and destroyed the dash ), but it will help with the little extra parts needed for this project. The tailgate isn't as bad as it looks, just surface rust and it opens and closes better than most newer ones. This was the truck that made me learn to appreciate bumpsides.

What's left of the seat in the bed is from a '72 Plymouth Fury III 2 door I drove way back in high school that I was using in the bumpside. I plan on using parts from it as well; part of the nostalgia theme I've been working on with this truck.

It seems I will have some extra parts when this is further along: 1 good dashboard, 2 complete heater systems w/controls, 1 uncut/unaltered stock radio bezel, 2 driver's side vent doors w/ hardware, 2 good steering gearboxes 1 power 1 not, 3 complete 9" ford rear axles drum to drum, 1 C6 for an FE engine, just to name a few.
