I was wondering what the tires were and what you did with suspension.. went thru the hole thread and found the answers..
Looks FANTASTIC!!!
Was the black a 2 stage or single? Raven Black or something else??
I'm working on my 68 which was origanally Black, but wifes trying to get me to go Wimbledon white.. after seeing yours... IDK, black is beautiful..
Nice job!!!

Thanks Convincor! The paint is a black for newer f150's at the time up to 2013. It is also base coat/clear coat.

Made a few changes to my truck this past week. Installed a set of DJM Dream Beams and did a rear hanger flip to the rear

Still has a little rake, but it's growing on me. Thinking of removing the thicker helper spring and dropping it a little more. What do you guys think?

All I really want to do now is change wheels and tires. Suggestions on that is also welcomed. haha

Looks fantastic!!!
As for wheels, check out this 68. The ad says tires are all 225/70-15 but I think the backs are fatter..
http://www.finecars.cc/en/detail/car/147006/index.html
My thought for mine has been 275/60-15 rear with 235/70-15 fronts.. But until I buy I cant say for sure..
Maybe 255/70-15 all around??

Thanks again convincor! That's what I was thinking, but I'm not sure my wheels will hold a 275 (7" wide wheel). I'm thinking hard about re-drilling my rotors and axles to go to a smaller bolt pattern. That way I can have much more options.

Definitely not 275's on 7".
The T/A's say 7.5-9.5. Tread width is 8.9"
But how many 9" wheels are there... TorqueTrust?? Not cheap..
As for redrill, I did have two pair of rotors done. Spigot turned and redrilled 5 on 4-3/4"
I'm only using one set..
I have confirmed crager SS fits and clears calipers..

Glad to know someone has had it done. DId you take the rotors to a machine shop to have them drilled? Also, what are you doing for the rear? Drilling the axles or running adapters?

Had a shop do them.
At this point I may just run the 5 on 5-1/2 modular wheels I have.
But if I do switch I'm thinking to just replace the axles and do rear disc at the same time..

Awesome!!
Couldn't have brought this thread back up at a better time..
Been tossing around whether to do molding or not... Then just upper, or upper and rocker..
Mine being a 68 custom cab just had the upper and proof here is looks GREAT!!!.
Thanks for posting!!!

You're welcome. I like the belt line molding only. I like how it gives a simple look while breaking up all the black.
