I had to see what this this would do before I gutted it. I've drove some real fast chevelles and my dad has a z06 this thing really suprized me, it needs two back tires now and they where bout new when I unloaded it. The truck should be a lot lighter than the car I think it's going be a lot of fun in the truck.

Right on! Those rear tires probably weren't that good anyway  I love this idea - I might just attempt something similar someday!

With my truck tore down and a shop full of my dads projects why not add one more. My dad drug in this today says he's going do a low budget shop truck out out of it. Planning on a PI 4.6 swap and dream beams. Still don't know what to think he's always been die hard Chevy so it kinda flips me out but it has killer body on it and patina is just right. It's really in a lot better shape than my truck was when I started.

Thanks man I hope they turn out half as nice as some of the ones guys on here are building. We have already switched directions on pops truck I talked him in to a Vic ifs swap. He picked one up the other day for 300 bucks. He's already got most of the stuff gathered up to build it so I think when we start should go perty quick just have to get his 50 5 window finished so we can get started.

I excited to see what it will be like in the truck. I'll probably have lots of questions for you when I ever get the time to get it pulled out and start trying to fit it up. Do u know what people are doing about running the 6 speed with a bench seat.

I have had my mom and grandma trying to find a picture of my truck and my grand paw together for the last 10 years they are still looking but my mom found this picture of when we where still using it around the farm. It was took lil over 21 years ago and super happy that she found it but still hope they find one of him with it.

Finally got a big step done this evening. Family is gone to the beach so I pulled the mustang in the garage today and now I have a coyote setting in the floor. I took some good pics but with the photobucket crap I don't have any way to post them. Also does anybody have any pics of motor mounts they've built or any where to buy any that will work with the Vic front end.

I finally figured out how to upload pic on using this site. So much better and easier than photobucket. Here's some pics of getting the dog pulled out.

Yea it's lot better than photobucket just go to the top of the page and click on the gallery or ur user name and go to upload images select the ones u want and then upload them copy and paste the image text to where u want the pics and ur done. It's so much faster and easier.

No I haven't got much done to mine in a while it got moved to the side and we have been working on the 70 that my pop bought. Ended up doing Vic ifs with PI 4.6 motor and trams and Vic rear with half axle flip. It's going to make a killer truck but ready to get started on mine.

I finally got to work on my truck a lil. Made some decent progress it's where it goes now but will have to come back out to trim the front cross member and build a new rear one. But I'm real happy with where everything is setting.
