Ha ha - taking delivery probably Thurs or Friday. Might take some time off work just to get it home and get settled. Testing the cluster is one of the first things I’ll do...

cdnwillyg wrote:Steve just noticed on the last pic that the bottom of the box at the back will be the same color as the top/inside..right? I think you should look at doing the back piece the same color as the lower outside of the box or it will look funny once the bumper is on with the tailgate. :2cents: Your truck do it the way you want., just wanted to make sure you were aware of this.

Done and done...fixed. Nice catch Willy! :fr:

The tailgate 2-tone isn’t quite right, but the XLT panel will hide it.

Smokey is HOME (Project 'Smokey' - '72 Ranger XLT)

Post by Bullitt74 »

At long last, the old girl is home. Unfortunately the starter decided to give out at the body shop, so I guess I'll get a crash course on starter replacement...might be the last thing I haven't replaced mechanically on this truck!

Steve, the truck isn't like a new puppy, you really don't have to spend the night with it but hey I won't tell your wife!
Looking forward of the rest of your build!
