Hey thank you but let me be clear: I did not serve, I have been a contractor to our forces for many years, I'm a patriot, but I don't ever want to steal the honor and valor of those who served. Thanks though!

Thanks DuckRyder! I do like the way she is turning out. On the homestretch now, taking the bench seat over to Chantilly to get it's cowhide on this weekend, it needs glass, all the little stuff, emblems, carpet etc. Not to far from finished!

Thanks Lone Ranger, kinda wish I started with an F-250 though! I don't think they made any F-250 shortbed stepside 4X4s though. Really like your highboy!

Thank you it means a lot coming from you; but id have to agree with Manny about swapping keys with you. Your truck looks like it sits up like a highboy already. You could always do a highboy frame swap then shorten it. I saw a 68 short bed highboy less than 45 minutes from my house last year.

Ive been off of here for a bit, on the west coast for the holidays and work, but I'm back into it now. Just a few more things left to do on the truck: The original wheels come back from powder coat this week. My nice new Cowhide bench seat is ready to go in; A few wiring items and rebuilding the front hubs are all that is really left to do! Once it stops being in the single digits around here I'll get some good photos outside. Thanks to Lim's Upholstery in Chantilly VA for doing the cowhide seat while I was away. It was $450 but I really like it!
