Aftermarket power steering cooler

Post by Ohiotinkerer »

Bought a generic p/s cooler and trying to figure the best place to mount it - I came with zip ties but don't want it rubbing on the radiator (its the original) and can fab a mount for it but unsure of what would be the best location for it - any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Is the power steering running hot? Why do you need the cooler? Stock units were placed on the return side and mounted on the pump. The stock unit is 6 to 8 inches long.

I've seen them on bumps with the same setup I installed on mine so I figured it was there for a reason thus the decision to put it on mine. I was thinking that maybe there was a better spot to put it for more airflow and maybe someone had found a better location to put it than the stock Ford setup.......... :?
