C notch question

Post by 1967longbed »

So I'm a long time reader, but new poster. I'm swapping in a 31 spline 9 inch into my 67 f100 long bed, and doing a axle flip putting it on top of the leaf springs. What are the measurements to locate where the c notch should go? I have 4.5" steel pipe, .25" wall. Thanks in advance for your help!

The easiest thing to do is mark dead center of your axle and then make that dead center of ur c notch. That's how I did mine and it worked out great. U may want to mark center of the original axle the change em and do ur hanger flip and recheck ur center with the changes

I'm not familiar with '67 frame. My '72 had a bumpstop directly over the axle tubes.
