my headlights

my headlights have work for a year now. they flickered on and off a couple of time during the year i have had my truck. but just last week they went out. now my running lights work its just the next click to the headlights just wont work. do i need a hole new switch??

Try depressing the dimmer switch a couple of times and see if the problem's there.

I had that happen on my 68 Camaro. Just a bad dimmer switch.
1969 Ford F-100. 302 4 barrel, C4 auto, 9in 3.50 open rear, headers, power steering, Turq/wht, Under restoration. In other words, in a million pieces!!!

There is no Replacement for Displacment!!!

Mine are doing it now. Started to flash I pushed the dimmer a few times and they stopped. Now I'm afraid to touch the dimmer. I don't want to loose my lights while I'm out somewhere. I'll put "dimmer switch" on my list the next trip to the junk yard. :D

Had trouble with a dimmer switch on a truck at work and fixed it with a shot of spray lubricant. It was sticking and wouldn't pop back up though.
Might help someone if theirs won't change from dim to bright.
