Highboy speedo cables.

Post by heep70 »

OEM cables are no longer available for our F250 4x4s. The longest oem cable you can get is 78" long (to short).

There is a place by me called Tacoma Speedometer that will build what ever style speedocable you need. The one that fits our application is 82" long, PN#44270 and costs $38.00 and 10 minutes to build.
Other places priced them around $40-$45 and around 30 minutes to a day to build.

Here is their website.

Are they in the phone book? I can't seem to find their number. My cable has had a burn through the outside cover for years, exposing a metal sheeth inside. It's only a matter of time and I'll need one.
