Front 4X4 u joints

Post by hotrodfeguy »

Is it right to have a cross-joint in the front? Is that factory? I measured and it has like 3 5/8" one way ans 3 1/4 the other. Thanks for the help

Been awhile since I've had a stocker highboy bump, but I think anything with the 24 case ran 1310 joints front and rear. The 205 trucks ran 1310's front and 1330's rear.

Mine if I remember right have what they call conversion u-joints on all ends. 1310/1330 or 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton so to speak. The u-joint itself is wider one way then the other. I don't have the PN#.
