It's done!

Well...everything except the new sending unit that plugs into the C6 for the Speedo and finding an alternate toggle switch for the hazard lights.

Here's the complete drawing I created with all dimensions. It addresses everything except the radius's to match the factory bezel.

Looks good. I am planning mine like Chris, I am going to use the F-600 panel and fill it with a custom made piece. I think probably aluminum and do a homebrew engine turning treatment to it. If I was rich I would have it made from stainless. Or possibly just have the whole thing chromed or powdercoated.
Great ideas have always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.

Very nice. What was your reasoning not to have tach in panel? :hmm:

I allready had the external tach...I didn't want to buy another one.

If I had to purchase everything I would have tightened up the spacing and placed everything in the dash panel.

Looks good man. I was toying with similar ideas. I was also leaning to AM gauges, but I recently discovered some SW gauges that look more traditional, but I gotta price them out. I was thinking of a machined alum. surface, maybe ball milling, or if not that then a black camera case finish (they'd go well with the gauges I'm looking at). Not sure how to get that camera case finish, other than that wrinkle paint. Not the same, but close. Anyone know if there is a way to get the camera case finish look?

You can get spray paint that leaves a crinkle finish. We got some at Home Depot or Lowes for a furniture project. Is this what you had in mind?

Yes, there is nothing specific to any of those guages for model year. The only one that is semi-specific for older fords is the fuel gauge.
