Gas monkey ford

Post by idaford »

ebay( 291331174942 )1967 Ford F-100 SWB
1967 Ford F100 SWB 6 cyl 4 spd Original condition offered by Gas Monkey Garage
you have got to be kidding me!! It is pathetic that these guys try to rip people off. Read the add and look at the pics. I have owned several of these trucks and currently have 3. I know where to look for rust. I could tell from one look that this truck is a rust bucket. I don't normaly complain about peoples adds but I am tied off seeing people saying little or no rust when it is a rust bucket.

I cannot believe the price someone will pay just to say it came from a TV show.

$800 truck, $5600 sticker and license plates. Ridiculous.

I watch the show but only to see the cool cars and what some idiots are willing to pay. Richard's a jerk, Aaron's all right, and the guys they have working for them remind me of a lot of people I've known. Gearheads, screw ups, and dweebs  That's a $800 truck in my area at best. If the cab floor braces weren't shot, just rear cab corners and floor pans, maybe $1000.

If you really want to get a laugh, look at the first picture of the inside of this truck.
Now follow the seat belt. What do you think?

Not only do they over price the bumps but when they mod them they will completely destroy good parts to put their junk on them.

Oh wow, they even had the nuts to put a reserve on that pile of crap. There's better stuff at the local pick n pull. Look at the way the front tires and the bed lean!
Considering they are not a private seller I'd think they'd have some huge liability selling that death trap.
