More ? on bodyside molding.

Post by peanutman »

My 70 has the 3 5/8" moulding. Can i use the narrower moulding without having to drill new holes and fill old ones? The wide moulding to me is not as nice looking as the slimmer versions.

No. The narrow trim clips are held on by a single centered pop-rivet. The wider clips have a pop rivet on each end (and none in the middle). To convert your truck to the narrow trim, you'll have a bunch of holes to weld up, and some new ones to drill.
