ignition switch plug/harness

Post by takehikes »

I was changing my ignition switch and found that there was one bare wire (outer casing had gone missing for about an inch). I fixed it but the repair is very close to the end of the harness near the plug in to the ignition switch. Question: I s that plug and harness available or is it part of the main chassis harness? I don't want to go to replacing the whole harness for this but I suspect there may be other issues hiding waiting to get me! :o

I'll check it out.

I found a number of other ones from same generation fords (Galaxie, Mustang etc) but oddly only one place do they say it fits our trucks.
