Thanks for the hearty welcome, folks. Thought I'd give a little more background on the truck: I essentially got it for free, but the engine was locked up, the shifter would only engage 2nd and 3rd gears, and the brakes were shot. I was able to get the engine freed up by taking the spark plugs out, soaking some PB Blaster in the cylinders, and putting the truck in high gear and rocking the heck out of it. It worked! Replaced some ignition components, rebuilt the brakes, put on a new shifter collar, new tires, and I got me a running truck. I've learned a ton from lurking on this site, so many thanks to everyone!

As for the rust, it doesn't show too much in the pics I posted. Once I pulled that evil drop-in bedliner out, I found out the bed floor is about gone (er, I mean, self-draining :) ). There's also some heavy rot in the drip rail, and some holes through the roof up there. I just tell folks that's my poor-man's air conditioning.
