Finally got my build sheet from Ford!

After what I swear was almost a year, I finally got my build sheet in from Ford!

here is the contents.....

F26 f-250 (4x4) Styleside pick-up
Y 360 cid, 8-cylinder 2V Gas engine
R manufactured at the San Jose Assembly plant
N26586 Consectutive Unit Number

This vehicle was produced on 12/16/1971 with the following options:

131" wheelbase
Wimbledon White - exterior paint
Black - interior trim
7,100 lbs -gvw
Ammeter Oil Pressure guages
Sliding rear window
Oil bath air cleaner (long gone by the time I got the truck!)
4 - speed NP 435 transmission
4.10:1 Dana 60 Limited Slip rear axle (and I didn't even know it, I was excited when I had to replace it and found a Limited Slip to slide under it!! :lol: )
&.50 x 16 - 8 TT Tires
Mud and snow Tread Tires
Mud Snow Spare Tire
LH/RH Swing Lock Chrome Western Mirrors
Optional Booster (what is this? :? )
AM radio (nuthing but the best!)
ICC Cab Lights
Dual electric horns
Extra Cooling Package
70 Amp Heavy Duty battery
Front and Rear Shocks (must be a special order!?!)

brake booster?

I've been thinking of sending in for mine, although I know all the info you get on the sheet, pretty much. It would be pretty nifty to have one straight from ford though :D

Include the door tag info if you have it. I've heard they will write up a little more if that's included. There's no spot for it on the email form, so type it in at the comments area.
Former owner of 70 LB SportCustom and a 71 SB SportCustom. Looking for a replacement bump!

Yes they will. If you have the DSO and all that as well, they will include it. Pretty good deal for no more than your time.

i e-mailed a request for my build sheet about a week or so ago. i got a reply today telling me that they are working on it and that i should get it shortly. :clap:

Htats what they told me, also. about 10 months ago.
But I did get mine for my '88 F-350 in about 2 months, so maybe my '72 was harder to track down.

Just be patient and it will get to you eventually.
