Sound Deadening the doors?

I did the doors of my daily driver with the stuff from Lowes (double layered) and it really helped.

I live in central CA at the bottom of the valley, and it gets hot here in the summer (100+). No tar smell, and the asphalt has not melted from the heat at all.

I used something called"quick roof repair" i bought at home depot.But I see that harbor freight carries the same stuff at half the price, $9.99+tx. It is 3"w X 25' l Two rolls just about did both floor pans except under the seat and both doors. Sure does quite the inside. Just be sure to clean all the mating surfaces real good.I used good ol' soap and water and rinsed real good.

Hey guys, I went ahead and used the Frost King stuff from lowes. Its the duct iunsulation that is used to insulate duct work. I just did the door panels and inside the doors and there is a huge diff in noise. I am going to use Fatmat on the floor and in the roof.
