seat belts

Post by red403 »

I want to match the accent color on my truck and haven't seen the color I want before. I was thinking of getting a grey seat belt and using some die to make my color. Has anyone changed there seat belt colors and can shed a little light on it for me. Thanks

clothing dye should work on the seat belts as long as they are oil and grease free when you dye them. the carpet is probably the same. as long as you use a light color and go to a darker color.

heads up, let the die dry and fully set, then wash them, dry, wash......... until no die leeches out!

Some of the aftermarket companies offer multiple colors

Take a good look at seatbeltpros.com. Lots of colors, depending on the buckle and belt types.

My interior color is "medium beige", so I ordered beige belts. Look great.
