Interior firewall covering

I've seen it in Dennis Carpenter's catalog. LMC also has it on page 31 for about $200.

Would you say all of them are produced by the same manufacturer? Ive been looking at them and they range from $175 to $200.

I'm not so sure this ABS mat will cure exposed and hanging guts. My understanding of this product is that it replaces the original "tar" based floor insulator. It is a heat barrier and sound deadener. On top of that is a hemp based padding and then the carpet. The padding and carpet would be two separate purchases. Anything hanging and exposed from the under-dash will still be.

the firewall cover only covers the firewall. it wont hide or cover the wiring or under dash stuff.

Racer Z and fordman are correct. It is a sound deadener and heat shield for the firewall. Zip ties and Velcro fix hanging guts under the dash.
