i was wanting to know if theres a diagram on how to take the dash pad off any help will work thank u

there are a lot of nuts to take off.what i did was remove the glove box-insturment panel.you almost have to take those off just to be able to get to some of the nuts.there are some nuts on both ends that are hidden pretty well so you will have to feel around for them.just be patient and you will get it done.

Are sneeky too! if you do as highboy says, you shouldnt have any problems. However, all the way over on both sides, there are nuts you wont be able to see, and along the lip, just feel for them. And its also quit possible you may destroy the thing trying to remove it. I did on my 69. It seems some glue themselves to the dash.

there are 14 nuts. three of them stick through the front of the dash i think. for the easiest way to get to them remove the glovebox radio and or the ashtray and instrument cluster.

Hi, don't mean to hijack your post, but I'm also looking to get a dash pad for my RHD F100. Question is, is it symmetrical? would it fit a RHD? Thanks beforehand.

but one thing i didnt think of is the bolts for our dash pads will possibly be in the wrogn places for a rhd. but those botls could be cut off and or new holes in the rhd dash. fo rthe botls that arent in the right places.

Aha..thanks fordman for the look up. Curious because the dash pad is quite expensive Just making sure it can work in a RHD. FYI: Looking up at the thread/link, my truck (imported from Aussie) is also 'bottom-straight' w/o any cut-out. I suppose because there never was any need for an 'a/c & heater options for the tropics But, it gives me idea for an after market a/c unit fitting
