had the idea to take apart my truck to build my dream truck i have had my 67 f-350 crew cab for a few years now and got bored of it so i found a 71 f-600 so here it is hopefully its nice this weekend so i can get some more done

oh man! that's what I want to do with my F750. I just need to get my hands on a crew cab cab. do you think it would be possible to put F100 fenders and grill on a F600? What kind of bed do you plan on using?

Working on it picked up some dually fenders for the bed now I have to try to get them to look good hopefully I will be driving it by the end of the weekend

Then I'm working on getting a diesel for it

well i got the cab mounted had to make all new cab mounts on the front i used the stock rear brackets off my 350 frame

i got the pedal assembly and column in too had to cut out a peice of the dash from the 600 and weld it into the crew cab
and had to cut a new hole for the column and clutch linkage

the bed is just sitting on there for now im gonna slide the axle back to center it in the wheel well and still deciding what to do with the dually fenders open to any ideas on them

wow, I kind of like it the way it sits now without the fender bubbles.

Except theres nothing to keep stuff from getting slung off the outside tires.

But shes definately a looker :wink:

Could you use some front fenders for the duals?

Have y'all considered converting to 4X4? Not tryin' to make you're head swim... just sayin'...

Thought about 4 wheel but no need more for towing and I have no self control if I make it 4 week I will beat the Hell out of it

And if I could find the front fenders I would do it not afraid of the work I have a set of newer dually fenders I'm gonna trim up to fit for now.

And I am picking up my diesel donor truck tomorrow so should have that in this weekend
