F600 Bezel ready to go into my Truck

Post by 69Ford »

Here is the front and rear view of my bezel. All NOS gauges and my home made wire harness so I would not have to do anything to the truck harness. Also added
all LED lights and electronic blinker. Lower switch is my fuel tank selector switch that used to be attached below dashboard. Other switch is factory
back up switch currently there for looks.

Nice! Did you have it rechromed and repaint it yourself?

All I did was paint the bottom strip below the gauges otherwise it is original chrome. The background paint is original. There is one scratch in the chrome barely noticable. I have know 5 Sets of ford gauges and bezels. Two that are perfect
Three for parts. A complete set of used F600 gauges. FOMOCO and Ford. They have original boxes but not new as I used the NOS ones in my bezel. Tell me what do you think of the white Gauge's. I also painted the Gauge face plate behind
the bezel and the area's on the gauges that where not covered by the kit white. I did this to get more reflection from the LED bulbs.

Does anybody make a reproduction of the ford bezel that has the ribs in the background "The flat areas" Instead of just flat. I do like this style better. Hopefully you can tell in the picture.

Who is a good source for rechroming? I have the original and would like to refurbish it.

The chrome is original on my F600 bezel. I bought it off Ebay took a chance got lucky almost perfect. Never had anything chromed but would like to have my 69 shandard cab bezel chromed. The steel one. How sharp would that be.
