Pictures of F600 gauges

Post by michael69 »

I finally took time to get all my gauges back in the F600 bezel after it has been painted for over a month. I put brand new speedo and a tach to match other gauges in. All I like now is putting in the wiper switch and wiper light indicator. Also installed all new LED bulbs. Will post pictures when I get time to put it in truck.

Very nice!....just purchased an identical cluster, from an F-700, online....paid 150., which I didn't think was out of line, with all the gauges...still don't know what I'll do with an air pressure gauge though  It has some pits....I haven't received it yet, so I don't know how bad....figure it will polish out for now, and I can get it replated later....what kind of LED bulbs did you use?....are they direct swap with filament bulbs?.....thanks...will be anxious to see your cluster installed.

The bulbs are BA9S LED's. They are a direct replacement for the factory 1895's used in older cars and trucks. They have different colors.I used clear they seem much brighter than any of the colored ones. I like the glow of the blue ones, may switch later if the clear are to bright when I get it installed and see how it looks at night. You can get them cheap off ebay or buy them at any parts store.

so.. what brand speedo did you replace the original with? Did you post a build up on how you put it all together? I've got the same gauge panel W/factory tach. Did yours have the tach hole already cut out? sorry for all the ??? just curious how I'm going to assemble my gauges. Thanx

The speedo is a factory ford f600 gauge. N.O.S There was no hole for the tach, I used a hole saw and finished it up with a dremal. All gauges are stock expect for tach.
