How to Remove Interior Door Panel Trim?
I have a 68' Ranger with the black plastic door panel cover. It also has a silver metal strip that snaps in to some holes on the boarder of it. I wanted to remove it and see how the truck looks. Since it has the covers does the door panel have holes that the ones that never had the trim? In my attempt to take it off I broke a metal clip that holds the metal boarder in the door. Does anyplace sell these clips?

The door panels that have the chrome trim rings do have more holes than the ones without the trim.
As far as the clips, are you referring to the ones on the back of the trim ring?

Yes the ones on the back. Mine got bent on the bottom of the passenger side of the trim and I tried to bent them back as the trim would just pop back out if you closed the door.
