First Time Bump Owner

Post by hdman90 »

Hello all, I recently had a 1969 F-100 shipped up to Pennsylvania from Arizona, wasn't able to hear it run or test drive it, but I couldn't be happier with the truck I received! I have drove it every day since and have had no problems (other than a couple days where my patience to let it warm up fully failed and then it ran poorly haha). The truck is completely solid, has a very small hole in the driver floor pan and both fenders have through holes, the front end is a little banged up, but the truck came with a new passenger fender, a new 69 grille and headlight bezels, a new inner bumper, and a new chrome front bumper. So all I need is a driver side fender a different set of mirrors (not a fan of the 80s mirrors), and to pull a few dents and she'll be ready for a repaint! But the truck is a 69, with a 240 6-cyl, manual transmission (moved from column to floor), runs and drives fine, is always jumpy when releasing the clutch (coming out of first and when in reverse are worst), and has been nothing but fun to drive so far!
Sorry, I tried to upload a photo but it said the image was too large and I can't figure out how to downsize it.

Hahaha Yes, a new '69 Grille and headlight bezels the previous owner (in Arizona) had shipped from Maine where a guy had a bunch of NOS parts. Blows my mind that those parts are still out there in places... But thanks everyone for the warm welcomes! I'm constantly thinking of what to do to her next!
