Wow, thanks guys for the kind words! I do appreciate it. And thanks for still caring about a project that has gone way past what I thought it would. Last Thursday was the 4-year mark, holy crap! :doh: Oh well, I still enjoy any moment I get to work on it, and that's what it's all about anyway, right? :thup:

Hey Tyler, Did you have the new bed cross members made different than factory dimensions to accommodate the wood bed instead of steel? I like your idea of wood bed in these trucks.

Hey! Yes, the new cross members were designed with a lower profile to compensate for the thickness of the wood, and also the return flanges on the cross members are much wider to provide a secure mounting surface, as well as a bolt location for the hold-down strips. Thanks for asking! :thup:

Wow!!! I just stumbled upon this and this truck is unreal. Better than Ford! I had a '69 a few years back and am about to buy a bone stock '67 Ranger.

SO happy to see this thread
