takoff seats from vans?

Post by takehikes »

I've run across tons of Sprinter and Transit van seats that appear to be takeoffs. They are new and bench seats and wondered if anyone had tried to fit some up. they are ogod looking seats and new and I was wondering if they would fit......without a ton of work.

Transit vans may be too narrow of a seat. Most truck seats up into the 80-90s trucks will bolt into your seat tracks with no problems .

I wonder about rear seats out of crew cabs or supercabs too. Do they mount up the same or are they rigidly mounted to the floor with no sliders?
Possible to adapt?
Oh and I meant full size Transit vans not the small one.

I'm pretty sure all seat mount brackets come off. Somewhere in the interior section. I posted about an early 90's seat that I was able to just bolt on our seat brackets too. No mods.

If I remember rightly, the crew cab seat I used had sliders. They didn't come close to fitting the floor of my F350, but I already had the bump seat runners waiting to go on. The originals tilted the seat way too far down at the front to be comfortable.
