1970 F250 Crew Cab

I have a 1970 F250 crew cab that I am doing a frame off restoration on. I had all the accessories in a trailer that was recently stolen. Most of the parts can be replaced, however for the rear doors i am missing the window glides, windows, door panels and Hinges.

Does anyone have any of this stuff or have a lead to where i can get it?

Nothing worse that a scumbag thief - we've got dope addicts around here that will steal anything that isn't nailed down - especially packages delivered to your front porch..... ...... if I come across anything around here I'll let you know........

Some of those parts are the same as the front doors i think

AFAIK, the glass is the same front door or rear door, on the hardware, not 100% sure.

But the crew door panels are for sure specific to the rear doors.

Hopefully there is a terminally rusty Bump crew somewhere out there that can be a donor??

Thanks for posting about the production of the crew cab. I had read this before but did not remember where.

Somewhere I read that the 1968 Crew was the first produced by Ford. All crews prior were built by a specialty shop. This is a bit different maybe as business ownership could make both stories coincide.

Does anyone have a template for the headliner of the 1967 - 1972 crew? I would like to find one before I try to make my own. Any ideas about the trim strip between the headliner and the body?

**Ford started producing Crewcabs "Inhouse" part way through the 1965 Model year.

There were coachbuilders producing crewcabs from as far back as the thirties, and the coachbuilders continued to produce them for quite some time after Ford started making them.

Here is a link to a 1965 Crew Cab Factory sales brochure that I got a copy of from one of the lads on FTE, which I then forwarded to Keith. Keith spent some time and cleaned it up quite a bit, as what I received was a scan of a photocopy:)

***And BTW, anyone who owns a '65 thru '72 F250 2WD Crew, please post & let me know if your truck has "Fish plates" stitch welded on the outside of the frame rails from just behind the radius arm mount brackets to just in front of the forward rear spring hanger brackets.
My '66 F250 2WD Crew has these, and I have seen a number of other F250 2WD Slicks & Bumps with them, but so far no one has had a copy of the Build Sheet (also called a VOI (Vehicle Order Image) by Ford, which is what we need to see to determine what the Code was for this option.
I am 99% sure these were factory, as if you look on pg 4 of the Factory Sales Brochure, under FRAME, they list "Section Modulus (Std.)", as well as "Section Modulus (Opt.)". BUT, the frame rail dimensions are only listed once, so the only way the Section Modulus could have increased is by adding the Fish Plates.
***So far, any of the trucks I have seen info on have been 7500# GVW, but I have also seen 7500# GVW trucks without them, so it seems it was an option available to those who planned on "Loading Up" their trucks:)
