1972 bench seat
Have a '72 Ranger XLT Camper Special. Took seat out to recover. Foam is damaged. Want to replace. Found bench seat from a '66. Will foam from '66 fit my bench or is it wrong size?

It will not fit to my knowledge."Big bird"]Have a '72 Ranger XLT Camper Special. Took seat out to recover. Foam is damaged. Want to replace. Found bench seat from a '66. Will foam from '66 fit my bench or is it wrong size?
Much easier to upgrade to a newer, (not older) bench (dent era 73-79 uses same bolt holes) which also has better springs and much...more comfortable as the designs gave them with time.
Here's the tutorial on the seats that will bolt right up.

Re: 1972 bench seat
Best thing u ever did was get a seat out of a 95 f350 and have it finished at the local upholstery shop in vintage threads. Drill out the rivets and it will bolt right up to your seat tracks.
