Thanks. I've been working on it for the past 4-5 years as money and time would allow. A lot of work has gone into getting it to this point!

It should scream :D. What kinda cam are you running? Carb? Why did you go with a Performer intake instead of RPM Air-Gap or Stealth? (just curious).

Bobbyford,

I was originally going to put CJ valves in my C8VE heads. I scored the A-429s after I had already bought everything else. I would have gone a little different if I had them from the get go. I'm running a Lunati Voodoo 61604 cam and an 850 double pumper carb.

I understand. It's expensive building performance :D Sounds like a great combo
That cam is similar to mine. Yours has a tiny bit more lift, same duration and I'm 108 lobe separation.

I was out in the garage today working on my '67 and the name for my truck came to me...The "Speed Bump"! What do you think?

I trial fit my billet CVF Racing pulleys and alternator bracket today. I'm thinking of replacing the alternator with a late model 3G because of the higher output at idle so that it will keep up with the electric fan and fuel pump. I also cleaned up the drive shaft today getting it ready for paint.
