I have found a picture of speakers for the kick panel, does anyone know anything about them or are they a custom built deal.

those are custom made. very easy to do if you can do fiberglass.

Those are the same ones I have in mine but they sit on the floor in front of the seat. Not the best place for sound clarity though. I left the wires long enough to move them alongside the trans tunnel for long drives and that helps.

I'm gonna make a box to house two 6x9's back to back and attach it to the trans hump.
I don't know how it's gonna sound with them pointed away from each other so I may
do it in cardboard first. Or I might make the box so that the speakers point away from the firewall
and angle them toward the cab corners, might be a tight fit but would probably sound better.

Sorry i haven't been on for awhile, the outside exterior is all the ford baby blue, the interior for my door panels, rear wall, speaker box etc is just Rust-o-leum Harbor Blue, just make sure the surface is smooth and clean etc and it goes on really nice and i've had to do almost no touch up in the 2 years i've had it in the cab, just when it got scratched with some tools one clumsy day ... far as speakers go i also did some dome tweeters in the dash that are 1 inchers but they have a crossover and pump out 100watts a piece ... all i had to do there was punch a hole on either end of hte dash with a 'hole saw' drill fitting, you can angle them so you get the sound where you want it, once stuff like that is in place, it doesn't really matter where just plain woofers or subs are cause the cab is so small... i even zip tied some 5's facing the fire wall under my seat for about a year and a half and they worked great

put it under the dash in the center. Its the stock location, and put one in each door at the bottom and you'll have great looks and sound.
