WHERE DO I PUT MY SPEAKERS?

so after all this, what has the guy who started this thread decided on for his stereo setup ?

Well I was going to put them in the doors but I recovered them last week and forgot to cut the holes. So I got some 6x9's in boxes Im going to wedge them under the seat. I might one day put some in the cavities in the rear cab corners but it might be a wile. Thanks for all the ideas.

I know it made me cringe when I saw that the PO cut such bad holes for the speakers. They either to small or to large but wow when I put my two 6x9's and 2'' mid range speakers . All I could do is crack a smile once I heard how loud and nice they sounded in the cab. Still going to throw two 4'' woofers in. Oh Ya I did this in about 8 hours.

I'd look at a set of marine speakers, but I'd look at the kind on a bracket... Put 'em in the back corner of the cab... the bracket mounted boxes can be pointed where they sound best. I was thinking headliner, but everbuddy says that sucks. I've been worried how I was gonna fit in a radio and a cb in... then I found a Sears cb with an fm tuner. SWEET! hope it works. Maybe I can rig it to the wierd old pioneer amp I found, and put in an aux port to bridge in mp3 players.

Does anyone have 6x9s in boxes under the bench? i have Two i wanna put in, but not sure where

i put a set of 6 inchers under the bench seat but they only lasted a week until the wires on the seat punched a hole in them the seat is just to low
