My ' 69 Stang fuel tank showed up yesterday. I got a little work done on it this afternoon. The bed and the back bumper are off and I got the rivets drilled out on the rear cross member and it's removed. I hope to get some more done this weekend.

I got it from Kentucky Mustang. The "kit" was on Ebay and it was $139 shipped to my door. It included the 20 gallon tank, sending unit with pickup, two hose clamps, a short piece of hose, and the screws necessary to bolt it into a Stang. The tank is made in Canada.

Hey Kevin, you notice we both have 117 posts? (for those that care, we're twin brothers...) I think the post counter is stuck though as the number seems to be the same for the last few posts....

I made a frame for the '69 Stang tank out of 1-inch square tubing and welded it together.

I had to trim 3/8" off each side of the frame so that the new tank and frame would slide between the rails. Each corner of the tank frame has a hole that goes through the frame. I have mine resting on the frame rather than hanging below that way the square tubing raises it up an inch and it's even with the top of the frame rail.
