missing kickdown

I have a 390 with the c-6 with a Holley 4bbl. The kickdown is missing and my mechanic told me that I would probablly have to make one since I was using an aftermarket carb. I would definately like to get this problem fixed. Anybody out there using a Holley? I could use some advice.

You can buy adaptor kits to allow you to hook up the stock kickdown linkage to Holley carburetors. Take a look at Jegs or Summit Racing, I'm sure either of them have those kits.

Not to hijack your thread, cause I think u got yer answer, but Indy, I just wanted to let you know I got the F600 guage bezel today and it was better than I had hoped for! Thanks a lot!!!
