Thanks for all the kind words, I really do love my truck. :D I can't wait to find some time to try cleaning it up a bit, not that it's disgraceful now or anything.

Nice looking truck. Maybe fordman will give us guys with dull grills some tips on how to get our grills look nice and shiny.

Sadly I'm pretty easy on it for the most part. Don't need no "awards" for driving  . Them don't look good with a CDL :shh: That's why I have a real race car and go to a place I can run'r like I stole it!

The real issue with tire wear is the full spool in the rear and the axle tubes are a bit bent and it eats up the inside edge of the tire quicker. With the spool out back..it really drags going around corners...BAD! But with the problems I had with regular posi rears back in the early days of building the truck I gave up on them and went "full race mode". I do get a few years out of tires, so it's not like a monthly thing!

A tooth brush + ????
I have tried about everything, and it just makes it look a brighter shade of DULL.
Originally the grills on theses trucks were painted white, I almost thought about painting my grill, but I like the aluminum grill look better.

Until you get the anodizing OFF, it will always be a dull shiny.

Lots a elbow grease with fine sandpaper, then polish to shine. The hard part is keeping it shiny since the anodizing protected the bare metal.
