i truly wish ethanol were the answer- it's way in it's infancy as a primary fuel- costlier to refine- only 2 refineries currently on line and our non computerised engines won't run it without some mods and then only in warm weather without a heater element at initial startup due to low combustibility- fossil fuels it is--jd

yep-there are some exceptions to the equation- i have driven thru some little communities way out in nowhere OK that seem to stay from a dime to 20 cents less and they are showing green on the map- go figure :dk:

i read that the fuel cost are going to cause farmers in NE MO to plant soy beans in place of corn- there goes ethanol productivity
