I don't think I have seen a system quite like this before.

What is that, an auxiliary heater or AC unit? Are those vents he put into the cluster and dash? Where's the sliding rear window? Sure is a funny looking 390! Hey, who pimped my seat?

That unit looks like it has one of those hoses going through the floorboard behind it to the compressor....But then again,I suppose it could be a heater hose :hmm: ...That is one nice looking truck, but good Lord, that Gawd-awful,gawdy seat would have to go....

If that's an AC unit, it must be self contained. I don't see a compressor in the engine compartment.

Could be a 390, it's definately an FE engine.

Betting the "LOTS of money" the previous owners spent was on all that Edelbrock chrome and the tune up (shiny new cap and wires).

It's a 385 series, maybe a 460?

it conforms to the bottom of the dash so it was ment for the bumpside trucks. and to tell you the truth, the vents dont look that bad, and they would work better then the shin coolers of the other model of hang under dash.

Those aren't vents on the dash. Sombody saw the bottled water coolers on the new dodge caliber and got to thinkn'. And that large A/C thing is an old intercome speaker from the Eugene, OR Elementry.

The thing under the center of the dash could be an underdash radio speaker...........

I donno, you can see some AC hoses under the hood, a condensation hose on the bottom corner of the box plus the controls on the modesty panel looks like a fan and something else? The panel in front of the box may be a cover?
