Howdy folks!

Post by montster69 »

Just wanted to take a brief moment to introduce myself to everyone. My friends call me Monty (short for my surname Montgomery). I live in North Carolina. I recently retired from the Corps and I'm now a Law Enforcement Officer. I'm 39 years old, have two sons which I am very proud of and a significant other who cannot identify with my fetish for old trucks but does a great job of accommodating it! I have owned several 1969-1972 trucks including this one that I foolishly sold Image
I have since purchased three or four trucks to make one good 1969 Ranger to replace my last one. Here is the compilation of those trucks...

I know that as much as I have fooled with old ford trucks, there is always more to learn so I know I'll learn from others here and maybe I'll be able to contribute something myself!

Welcome aboard. That is one sweet looking truck. I love those colors since mine is the same color. Is those original colors? I love the look with no chrome and the wheels.

Big D, those are not actually Ford factory colors. I just chose them at the body shop where I had it painted. But my next one is going to be Wimbledon white and Lunar green, and I'm going to spray it myself at a buddies booth! :)

I love the two tone colors. I cant' wait to see your next project done. I have mine under restoration right now. Don't know when it will be done, but it is atleast started. And again welcome aboard. Here is a pic of mine before I started.
