how about a loose belt. lol. just for the heck of it i tightened the alt. belt some and my surging is gone. i still plan to install 390's headlight harness just for added safety.

Funny thing my 250 runs Halogen headlights with no problem and no breaker cutout.

my 72 started a slight surging this spring already replaced the headlight switch just for S & G and have the relay system from 390 nut the reg is about 5 yrs old so for $15 I'll replace mine just for S & G my truck loves new stuff and I,ve always been a good care giver to it. :lol:
