Headlights on a 68 ford f100

I recently bought a 68 ford f100 and I started driving it the other night and the headlights after a period of about 5 seconds started to flashing off and on and would not stop if anyone could help me with this situation it would be greatly appreciated
Broke down need help

you need a new switch the circut breaker in your old one is getting weak and it won't let the lights stay on. it is tripping and resetting is why they blink.

Also, check all the grounds.
