Welcome to the site. Nice truck but you do realize that its painted Husker red & white. Thats why it looks so good. :lol: :thup:

Welcome from Arkansas! Damn, that is a cool old truck!!!!!!! That thing has tons of potential! I wanna get a 4-wheel drive like that one someday.

Thanks for the warm welcome, and yes I'm well aware that my truck is Husker red. The truck came with the original bill of sale from a Nebraska dealership. As far as I know this is the first time it ever left that state. Even though I'm an Iowa boy, the truck is a Husker through and through and I respect that, so a husker it will stay. I even kept the old Nebraska plates in case some day down the road the truck gets shown, it'll be flying the proper flag.

In fact, I don't plan on changing much of anything about the truck except to improve the condition. I do have a line on a '70 donor with trash for a body but a nice bored and built 360 in it. If it can also give me power steering and or disc brakes up front I might have to pick it up...
