Well I'm sorry guys, I was really looking forward to going until my bump went tilt. Hopefully next year I'll have me another one and will be able to make it. All I ask is I want to see some pics. Have fun and everybody drive safely.

I am not sure which way you intend to go but map quest shows a straight shot from
Trenton up 29 to 179 to 202/31 to 517/206 to 15.

I am willing to meet anywhere in the area on PA or NJ side.

PS I owe you a burger and soda/beer since I missed you at the Farm Eqpt thing.

I think I'm going to head up in the morning and stop off at my parents' house in NJ. I'm going to get a few yards of mulch for my mom. I'll sweep out the bed and head up there in the afternoon.

GreyStep, I'll see you up there. And don't worry about the burger, it's cool. 8)

Also, I'm thinking of heading up the road to the Warwick Drive In Theater later on tomorrow night. Anyone interested? I just don't have speakers in my truck...:(

I just looked at weather calling for thunderstorms 90% chance of rain.
Is this being resched to next week or is it still a go for today.

I just wanted to know if you guys are still going before I make the drive.

Sorry Grey Step, I wish I check this thread yesterday. Long story short, FLATBEDFORD and his wife came in his "modern" truck and met myself, my wife and son, and my in-laws at the Chatterbox. It was dissapointing that no one else could make it, but we had a good time anyway. It's allways good to see FLATBED, he lives too far to get together more often, so it was nice to see them. I didn't even remember to take a pic of my truck at the Chatterbox. :o

There was very few cars that showed up because of the weather. But ther was one worth mentioning...
Here is a car you won't see again!! I wish I asked the year and model. The old timer that owns it brings it every Saturday.
All I can remember is that it is a super rare Kaiser.

Hey John, thanks for posting some pictures. Does your father in law's truck still have a flathead?

Again, I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it. I went to the emergency room with severe eye pain and iritation Saturday morning. It was a corneal abrasion. The doctor said it would be ok but I had to take antibiotics and painkillers so I couldn't drive for the weekend. There is no way I was going to chance it, especially with the bump!

Anyway I hope you guys had a good time.

I'm going to see if I can put together an event for September or so.

No flathead. It has a 1968 302 from a bronco. He has had many transmitions. Curently it has a C6. It's had a a few C4s, an AOD, a T5, and now the C6. The truck flies! Kind of unnerving in an old truck like that. It has modern suspention also. A Mustang II out front and posi Ford 9" with 4:11s on Ranger leaves out back.

Hey guys,

Don't know if you saw it, but I posted up another event that you might be able to make it to.
