Eastwood Air LineKit

Post by Merlin68F100 »

Has anyone used this kit? I am thinking copper lines but then I saw this. I still think copper is the way to go. I know copper prices are up but I think $200 still buys a good bit of 3/4 inch.

Yeah I know its poly pipe. I have all the walls open in the shop right now as we just finished rewiring everything so I'm thinking I will run the copper inside the walls and just have the drains and air stations showing outside the new sheetrock..

He is saying he could just use copper instead of the Eastwood stuff for around $200 and have it hidden in the walls. I think he wanted input on the eastwood stuff.

ok i see i thought he wanted to use that kit because it had copper tubing with it. i think i would make sure all of my fitting and junction were accessable from the interior of the building though. leaks can happen over the years.

He thought like Nellie......
I am going with the copper in the walls. I am confident in my copper sweating skills.

i hate sweating copper fittings. i can ususally do it. but there is always one that will never sweat for some stupid reason. i love soft copper and flares. no bull needed to put that all together.

I was thinking 3/4 copper. Might as well do it right. Shopping for some regulators for the air stations.

PVC can develope a crack and explode and send spinter flying! It is not a safe option.

Copper can crack but will just "un-zip" so to speek, but not send shrapnel flying.
