Exhaust showing its age.

Post by 1968Ranger »

Since getting my truck I have noticed now that I am driving it a bit- I am getting some small exhaust leaks. I plan on replacing the pipes. I was going to take the opportunity to maybe go with some headers.
Any thoughts on Name brand headers (Hedman Flowtech) etc.. Painted vs ceramic coated? Any thoughts are welcome.

My truck came with a set of heddman headers the previous owner put on, they're rusted from sitting in his yard for a year or so, but I don't have any complaints with them, you could also take this opportunity to run true duals. It will help that engine breathe better.
